A SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND INSPIRATION: DRAIN PUBLISHING is the independent publishing imprint of the design office HOT COTTAGE producing artist zines, printed ephemera and more: a curated collection of visual artifacts.

DRAIN is a biannual, image-based publication edited by Ed Davis designed by HOT COTTAGE. Each issue is conceived as a collectible object, a tangible, focused experience made to inspire, printed in limited runs, and free from the noise of algorithms. Each edition presents a series of visual essays, bringing together a diverse, international mix of artists, designers, and image-makers.
